Job Summary
The Mobile Trailer Technician is responsible for performing general to moderate level repairs on trailer chassis, bodies, and accessories, primarily at customer locations. This role involves a variety of repair tasks including chassis lube, DOT inspections, and welding, ideally suited for candidates with experience in trailer repair and certifications in welding.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years’ experience in trailer repair
- Certified aluminum and steel welding; both MIG and TIG welding
- Valid driver’s license and must be insurable
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or technical school (certificate or diploma)
- Trailer/Reefer Manufacturer Certification
- Tanker Inspector Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
