Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, lubrication services, and basic inspections on JCB construction and industrial equipment at customer job sites and company locations. Change engine oil, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, and filters while lubricating pins, bushings, and bearings. Conduct equipment inspections, document findings, and maintain accurate service records. Operate a mobile service truck safely, manage inventory, and respond to customer service requests. Communicate maintenance recommendations to the Service Manager and customers. Follow all JCB procedures, safety regulations, and PPE requirements while ensuring work areas remain clean and compliant.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate and maintain a mobile service vehicle
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience servicing construction, agricultural, industrial, or heavy equipment
- Basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and understand maintenance schedules, service manuals, and inspection forms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working on JCB equipment or other construction equipment brands
- CDL license or ability to obtain one
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and fleet management systems
- OSHA or other applicable safety training certifications
