Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty tractors and equipment at customer locations, often in challenging weather. Diagnose and address vehicle breakdowns by replacing, adjusting, and assembling components across major equipment systems. Perform tire services including replacements, rotations, and mounting while maintaining the service truck to standard. Verify repairs through test drives and adjust controls, ensuring compliance with federal and state vehicle requirements. Maintain meticulous vehicle records, manage costs via warranties, and implement a strong safety environment. Requires a valid driver's license with Class B capability, Class B license, and basic hand tools up to 1 ½" and ½ drive pneumatics. Full-time position with competitive hourly rate of $25-$35 plus production bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Class B license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
Desired Qualifications
- Post-Secondary vocational education
- Fleet and mobile maintenance experience
- Experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field
- Technical understanding with attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
- Capable of maintaining accurate inventory control
- Ability to implement a strong safety environment at all times
- Ability to work alone with little or no direction at times
