Job Summary
Mobile Service Technician in the Butte, MT area needed to travel to customer workplaces and homes within the service region. Independent role requiring 7+ years of hands-on experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment repair, including diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or machinery while upholding high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer experiences, coordinating with the Mobile Service Coordinator and Parts Department, maintaining time management and preparation for daily appointments, performing repairs/maintenance as outlined, and staying current with manufacturer training and service bulletins. Strong communication, safety adherence, and ability to work with various customers are essential; candidates must have own tools, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a technician (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred)
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital repair documentation
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must provide own tools
- Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions
- Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly
