Mobile Speed Camera Operator

Operate mobile speed camera enforcement systems in Ōtautahi Christchurch, setting up, operating, and packing down mobile enforcement equipment at locations across the city. Conduct site risk assessments before enforcement sessions, monitor equipment, and communicate routinely with the control centre during shifts. Complete shift reports and report issues or maintenance needs, while following safety protocols and maintaining professional public interactions. Flexible to a rotating roster including nights and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license, tech-savvy with devices, high attention to detail for data recording, and strong communication skills with the ability to work solo. Pre-employment checks include driver’s license suspension and demerit check, criminal history check, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol test.
