Job Summary
Operate and maintain company vehicles to safely transport and deliver customer orders, ensuring strict adherence to security and regulatory procedures. Prepare accurate paperwork and records for loading, transporting, and driving routes without assistance. Collaborate with the operations team and customers to ensure a seamless delivery and retrieval process. Requires a valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement, minimum age of 21, and at least three years of route transportation experience. This role involves a flexible schedule split between local work and regional travel, with full coverage of travel expenses and accommodations. Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid Class 5 + air brake endorsement driving license
- Consistently good driving record
- At least 3 years of route transportation experience
- Ability to lift at least 70 pounds
- Ability to push/pull bins from 25 to 350 pounds (average 170 pounds)
- Ability to carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs and ladders
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to assist in the warehouse based on operational needs
- Reliable, trustworthy work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible schedule split evenly throughout the month: two weeks of local work (Tuesday to Friday, returning home daily) and two weeks of regional travel to remote locations within the province (Tuesday to Friday, with three overnight stays per week)
