Mobile/Shop Diesel Truck Technician

Conduct Mobile/Emergency Road Call service and On-site PM service. When not on mobile calls, work in the shop performing engine repairs, valve adjustments, fuel injector replacements, and transmission/driveline work including clutches, PTOs, U-joints, and differentials. Handle electrical and computer diagnostics, wire-by-wire analysis, trailer repairs for lighting/suspension/brakes/doors, HVAC diagnostics and charging, welding, and Federal DOT inspections. This role is with American Fleet Service, Inc., an independent diesel truck shop in Portsmouth, Virginia, servicing all makes and models. We offer a supportive work environment with a 5-day work week (Mon-Fri, 8 AM to 5 PM).
