Job Summary
Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck to mount, dismount, balance, and repair all types of tires. Diagnose and repair tire-related issues, perform light mechanical repairs, and inspect wheels for wear, damage, and proper inflation. Operate diagnostic tools, maintain the service truck and equipment, and follow DOT regulations and safety policies. Provide clear communication of service details and timelines while assisting with warehouse or shop duties when not on calls. Possible overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Capable of working independently in various weather and road conditions
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- CDL
- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires
