Job Summary
Mobile Service Technicians respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck. Responsibilities include balancing, repairing, and inspecting all types of tires, performing light mechanical repairs, conducting fleet inspections, and operating diagnostic tools like tire pressure monitoring systems. The role requires maintaining the service truck and equipment in safe operating condition, following safety regulations, and providing clear customer communication. Candidates should have a valid driver's license and the ability to lift heavy tires, and experience with commercial tires is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Capable of working independently in various weather and road conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
