Job Summary
The Mobile Service Technician will respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck. Responsibilities include mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing various types of tires, diagnosing tire-related issues, performing light mechanical repairs, inspecting tires for wear and damage, and conducting fleet inspections. The role requires strong communication and customer service skills as well as adherence to DOT regulations and safety policies. This position involves maintaining the service truck and equipment, and assisting with warehouse duties when not on service calls.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
- Capable of working independently in various weather and road conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
