Job Summary
The Mobile Service Technician responds to roadside and on-site service calls utilizing a fully equipped service truck. Responsibilities include mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing all types of tires, diagnosing tire-related issues, and performing light mechanical repairs. Technicians are expected to inspect tires for wear and proper inflation, conduct fleet inspections, and maintain safety regulations. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred.
