Job Summary
Mobile Service Technician needed to perform on-site warranty repairs, maintenance, and recalls on heavy-duty Ford, Stellantis, and GM vehicles. Role includes diagnosing components with diagnostic equipment and specialized tools, test-driving for verification, and communicating repair needs and estimates to the Service Advisor. Ideal candidate has heavy-duty truck repair experience, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card; dealership experience preferred. Responsibilities include diagnosing systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, AC), performing recalls, and maintaining productive, customer-focused service visits. Required Qualifications
- Heavy-duty truck repair experience
- Clean driving record
- DOT medical card (cost coverage by employer)
- On-site warranty repairs experience
- Maintenance and recalls on heavy-duty vehicles
- Ability to diagnose using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools
- Test driving vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
- Diagnose automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, A/C)
- Provide service advisor with repair estimates
- Customer relationship skills
- Time management and organizational skills
