Job Summary
Perform on-site diagnostic services, repairs, and maintenance work on refrigeration units while managing service processes to ensure quality customer satisfaction. Diagnose faults physically and via downloads, inspect units to identify damaged parts, and correct deficiencies by removing, repairing, and adjusting faulty components. Complete preventative maintenance schedules, install upgrades, and enter data into computer systems at the time of repair. Respond promptly to emergency service calls and adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing required PPE and working in extreme temperatures. Requires a valid driver's license, medical examiners test, and ability to lift up to 50lbs. Earn $70,000–$100,000+ annually with over-time and call-out bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a medical examiners test
- Utilize critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and exercises good judgment when completing tasks in an efficient, correct, and productive manner
- Coordinate tools, resources, and equipment to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Active listening skills, oral/written comprehension, and commitment to perform quality service
- Basic computer and data entry skills for Windows based software programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook and Word
- Compliance with all personnel policies and practices
- Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams
- Attendance and punctuality
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders
- Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes
- Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic computer and data entry skills for Windows based software programs e.g., Karmak Fusion software a plus
