Mobile Service Technician III

Job Summary
Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions, perform advanced diagnostics to diagnose system failures, and execute major repairs including brake adjustments, engine overhauls, and suspension troubleshooting. Conduct preventative maintenance services such as oil changes and filter replacements, then test drive vehicles to verify component functionality. Review service stories to determine required tasks, file and smooth repaired surfaces, and train new service shop employees on company procedures. Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers while maintaining a clean workspace and safe driving record. Work in extreme temperatures and confined spaces with an on-call rotation available for the location.
Required Qualifications
- 7 + years of experience with repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers
- Diagnostic experience
- Training experience
- Welding
- Air Brake Certified
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox
- Maintain perfect safety record
Desired Qualifications
- Diesel Technology certificate/degree
- Class A CDL
