Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomist drives to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) to collect specimens at patient bedsides, accurately identifies patients, collects, labels, processes and delivers specimens, and maintains records. The role requires adherence to Universal Precautions, regular communication with dispatch, vehicle readiness, and timely completion of assigned routes, with on-call evenings and weekends as needed. Must hold a state phlebotomy license (if required) and a valid driver's license, and demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and specimen handling while upholding safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required)
- Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; a vehicle in good working condition
- Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using vacutainer and syringe techniques
- Knowledge of laboratory operations
- Maintains sterile, sanitary conditions to prevent contamination
