Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomist drives to client facilities (primarily nursing homes) to collect blood samples, unloads phlebotomy tray to patient bedside, identifies patients accurately, and delivers labeled specimens. Responsibilities include maintaining specimen integrity, following universal precautions, managing supplies and time records, communicating with dispatch, and adhering to safety and operational procedures. Requires venipuncture and skin puncture proficiency, knowledge of laboratory operations, valid phlebotomy license (state, if required), valid driver’s license and vehicle in good condition, and ability to work a full-time schedule including on-call evenings/weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required)
- Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; a possess a vehicle in good working condition suitable to meet daily driving requirements
