Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomists are responsible for driving to client facilities to obtain blood samples from patients, following established phlebotomy procedures and ensuring proper identification and labeling of specimens. Responsibilities also include planning and organizing draw schedules, maintaining accurate records, and working cooperatively with various departments. Candidates must possess knowledge of medical terminology and be proficient in phlebotomy techniques. They must hold current clinical licensure as required by the state and have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Current clinical Licensure as required by State
- Must have a current and valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
- Access to a vehicle in good working condition suitable for driving
- Maintain a good driving record
- Work under minimal supervision
- Understand and knowledgeable of resident rights and patient care
- Ability to obtain blood specimens from patients under various conditions
- Completion of written logs and time sheets accurately
