Job Summary
Draw patient samples within assigned routes and schedules while providing coverage for collection duties when needed. Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities to ensure service satisfaction and address all service concerns promptly. Communicate current or potential customer issues within the territory, offering suggestions for resolution, and serve as the knowledgeable face of laboratory services. Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage, and assist with correction requests from Insurance and Billing teams. Ensure proper documentation for sample collection and reporting. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the manager. Collect samples in Waco, Rosebud, & Cameron; drop-off in Temple.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of mobile phlebotomy experience, preferably within the Nursing Home/LTACH market
- Proficiency in venipuncture and a thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for various tests
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Valid driver's license, safe driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently resolve problems
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods while performing specimen collection
- Comfortable driving for extended stretches to various patient locations
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds
- Manual dexterity for handling small instruments and performing precise blood draws
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under high-stress situations
- Flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes and varying patient needs
- Collect samples in Waco, Rosebud, & Cameron
- Drop-off in Temple
