Job Summary
Prioritize requests for sample collection and collect blood from patients using sterilized needles and vials. Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient, provide reassurance during the process, and correctly label samples for testing. Gather patients' personal information and ensure no needles are sent back with any draw. This mobile role requires reliable transportation and pays $30-$40 per successful blood draw based on experience. You will work with pre-supplied kits to help patients identify underlying conditions and stay healthy.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
- Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
