Job Summary
Prioritize requests for sample collection and collect blood from patients using sterilized needles and vials. Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient, provide reassurance during the process, and correctly label samples before sending them for testing. Gather patients' personal information and ensure no needles are returned after the draw. You will be paid per successful blood draw ranging from $30-$40 per patient. Reliable transportation is required as this is a mobile position where kits are already provided.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
- Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
