Job Summary
Travel to specified locations to obtain vitals, blood, urine, EKG's, and medical history from patients. Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs, gather mandatory information, verify identities, and accurately label all samples. Maintain accurate patient records detailing any medical issues experienced during venipuncture procedures that may affect test results. Paid per appointment with bi-weekly pay; some travel expenses covered depending on location. Requires valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation with computer proficiency to print, scan, and upload documents.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experienced phlebotomist
- Valid driver's license
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law
- Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills
- Professional, responsible, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship
- Reliable transportation
- Must be computer proficient
- Have internet access
- Have a printer/scanner
