Job Summary
Provide patients with the highest level of care by procuring blood and laboratory specimens from home-bound patients and facilities using standard venipuncture procedures. Process specimens by centrifuging, pipetting, and freezing when required, then transport them to local labs or PSC for processing. Uphold ethical behavior while following all policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PTI Mobile Lab and our partners. This role requires a valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate, two years of experience, and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license. Phlebotomists work Monday through Friday, 8-hour days from 7 am to 3 pm, with no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy
- Experience using a smartphone, computer, and office printer
- Reliable, efficient transportation with valid driver license and proof of current liability insurance
- Minimum two (2) years of experience
- Valid driver license
- Proof of current liability insurance
- Monday-Friday schedule
- 8-hour day shift
- 7 am start time
- 3 pm end time
- No weekends
- No holidays
