Mobile Phlebotomist Driver - West Bend (Paid Training)

Job Summary
Operate a full-size commercial van to safely transport staff, supplies, and equipment while adhering to all DOT guidelines. Perform donor screening, including history collection and mini-physicals, followed by phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products. Load and unload supplies, set up mobile sites, and maintain product integrity through routine equipment maintenance and proper donor identification. Treat donors with customer service excellence, respond to inquiries, and escalate issues to leadership as needed. Recruit donors for automation processes, observe for reactions, and provide immediate care if required. Rebook donors for future appointments and complete all department records. Requires a valid driver's license, cargo certification, and ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- GED
- 1-3 years relevant people facing experience preferred
- Less than 1 year job-related experience
- Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts and information and/or the use of simple equipment, machines and materials
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other department manuals
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to apply judgment to written or oral instructions
- Ability to organize work to provide productive workflow
- Ability to provide a consistently positive donor experience through professional, empathetic donor-centric service
- Ability/desire to contribute to and uphold a positive team culture through respectful communication, behaviors, and collaboration
- Flexibility to work independently, with a team, and adaptability to changing organizational and donor needs
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to respectfully provide and receive feedback to/from peers/donors/leadership
- Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours
- Ability to learn/utilize computer applications as required to perform duties
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
- Cargo certification
- Navigation system
- Personal Computer (desktop, laptop, tablet)
- General office equipment (computer, printer, fax, copy machine)
- Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Screening equipment including: Lancet, Sphygmomanometer (BP cuff), Temperature probe, Hemoglobin analyzer
- Phlebotomy collection equipment that may include blood mixer, Trima, Alyx
