Job Summary
Travel to patient homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities across Canton, Ohio to collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary techniques. Verify patient identification, ensure accurate specimen labeling and transport, and provide professional service to elderly patients and healthcare partners. Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff while maintaining a clean driving record and valid auto insurance. This role offers competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling within the nation's largest long-term care laboratory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience
- Valid state-issued Driver License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Clean driving record for last 5-years
- Own reliable transportation
- Proof of required auto insurance coverage (100/300/100)
- Clean criminal history
- Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience (Home Draws)
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited training school or equivalent
- Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
