Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomist opportunities with American Health Associates offering both part-time and full-time roles. Responsibilities include following established phlebotomy procedures to obtain samples, proper patient identification before collection, accurate labeling and requisition completion, transportation of specimens while adhering to PHI policies, maintaining patient safety and quality of care, and collaboration with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier teams. Must be able to obtain blood specimens under varying patient conditions, possess knowledge of medical terminology related to laboratory work, manage time sheets and logs, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe, professional demeanor. Requires a current valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, clean driving record, proficiency in English, ability to multitask, and completion of written records. Home Draw experience and additional credentialing are noted as preferred. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience
- Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training school or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid state-issued Driver License; must be at least 21 years old
- Clean driving record for last 5-years; own reliable transportation; proof of auto insurance
