Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomist needed for on-site patient blood collection across Westlake, OH. Responsibilities include following phlebotomy procedures, proper patient identification, accurate labeling and requisitions, PHI transport compliance, safety and patient-rights considerations, collecting blood samples from diverse patient conditions, coordinating with dispatch/lab/courier, maintaining equipment, and timely recordkeeping. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year phlebotomy experience, valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and clean driving record, and phlebotomy certification preferred. Home Draw experience (3+ years) and strong safety/customer service focus are valued. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience (required)
- Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training school or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid state-issued Driver License; must be at least 21 years old
- Clean driving record for last 5-years; own reliable transportation; proof of auto insurance (100/300/100)
- Clean criminal history as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting
- Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required (for Home Draw team)
- Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE
