Job Summary
Travel to patient homes, nursing, and assisted living facilities across Northeast Ohio to collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques. Verify patient identification, ensure accurate specimen labeling and transport, and provide professional service to elderly patients and healthcare partners. Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff. Requires phlebotomy certification, one year of experience, and reliable transportation. Flexible scheduling available with competitive pay and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance (100/300/100)
- Age 21+
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
