Job Summary
Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio to collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques. Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport while providing professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners. Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and staff. Requires phlebotomy certification, one year of experience, and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance (100/300/100)
- Age 21+
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
