Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomist responsible for on-site blood collection across long-term care facilities. Follows established phlebotomy procedures, accurately identifies patients per policy, ensures proper labeling and requisition completeness, and adheres to PHI transport rules. Must obtain blood specimens under various patient conditions, coordinate with dispatch/laboratory/courier teams, maintain equipment, submit logs/time sheets, and uphold safety and customer-service standards. Requires a valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and phlebotomy certification (preferred). Home Draws experience and credentialing are required for the Home Draw team. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience
- Valid state-issued Driver License; at least 21 years old
- Clean driving record for last 5 years; proof of auto insurance (100/300/100)
- Clean criminal history as required for patient care roles; some states may require fingerprinting
- Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training program or equivalent (preferred)
- Home Draws: minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience; additional credentialing as required for Home Draw team
