Job Summary
Travel to patient homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities across Northeast Ohio to collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques. Verify patient identification, ensure accurate specimen labeling and transport, and complete required documentation while communicating clearly with laboratory and facility staff. Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners while working independently with a flexible schedule. Competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance (100/300/100)
- Age 21+
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
