Job Summary
Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing, and record keeping for whole-blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, and research projects. Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure all blood products meet FDA quality standards. Assist supervisor in verifying daily paperwork and alert them immediately regarding equipment, venipuncture, donor questions, or equipment performance issues. Continually assess donor needs throughout the process, including evaluating and treating donor reactions, while educating donors on donation frequency and product needs. This role requires a high school degree or GED, reliable transportation, and availability for flexible schedules including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
