Mobile Pharmacist (Part Time)

Job Summary
Travel to assigned clinics and patient residences to administer long-acting injectable medications in accordance with prescriber orders and organizational protocols. Verify patient identity using two approved identifiers, provide medication education, and accurately document all clinical and operational details per AHCS guidelines. Coordinate medication retrieval, transport, and storage while maintaining strict infection prevention standards and state/federal compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinical coordinators, prescribers, and nurses to support medication adherence and continuity of care. This part-time role requires 20 hours weekly, full territory travel, and a Washington Pharmacist license in good standing. Based in the Olympia region.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Washington Pharmacist license in good standing
- Based in the Olympia regions
- Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods within assigned territory
- Demonstrated competency in administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections (including long-acting injectables)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Consistent application of standard precautions and infection prevention and control practices in alignment with CDC and organizational guidelines
- Commitment to patient-centered, equitable, and compassionate care
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time
- 100% Travel within assigned territory
- Able to sit for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience administering injections including long-acting injectable medications for behavioral health and other conditions such as HIV treatment and prevention conditions
- Prior mobile, community-based, or ambulatory care experience
