Job Summary
Conduct mobile patrol operations in a vehicle while performing security checks, alarm responses, and house watch duties at client sites. Utilize company communication tools to report incidents, complete shift documentation including run sheets and vehicle inspections, and maintain proper dress and deportment. Assist in training new drivers and ensure all vehicles remain clean and equipment is properly controlled. Work evening or overnight shifts on Vancouver Island and the Yukon front, maintaining high professionalism and customer service standards while resolving conflicts and executing emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- valid B.C. security workers licence
- valid BC driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- excellent problem solving skills
- professional report writing
- ability to work under pressure
- calm demeanor
- proficiency at operating equipment such as cell phones and two-way radios
- ability to work independently, especially in the evenings and overnight
- ability to provide superior customer service to clients and general public
- ability to provide access control and security foot patrols as needed
- ability to proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts
- ability to complete evacuation and emergency response procedures
- ability to communicate problems or concerns to the supervisor
- excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities
