Job Summary
Safely operate a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws while conducting security checks, alarm responses, and house watch patrols at client sites. Utilize company cell phones, two-way radios, and the Tracktik app to complete incident reports, vehicle inspections, and inventory logs. Attend lone worker sites and provide access control or foot patrols as needed. Proactively respond to emergency situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure proper key control and vehicle maintenance. Maintain high professional standards, report unsafe incidents, and assist in training new drivers. Work flexible shifts including evenings and overnight hours across Vancouver Island and the Yukon.
Required Qualifications
- valid B.C. security workers licence
- valid BC driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- excellent problem solving skills
- professional report writing
- ability to work under pressure
- calm demeanor
- proficiency at operating equipment such as cell phones and two-way radios
- ability to work independently, especially in the evenings and overnight
- ability to provide superior customer service to clients and general public
- ability to provide access control and security foot patrols as needed
- ability to proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts
- ability to complete evacuation and emergency response procedures
- ability to communicate problems or concerns to the supervisor
