Job Summary
Mobile Packaging Technician responsible for setting up and breaking down equipment, executing Clean-In-Place procedures to Iron Heart standards, and operating and maintaining the canning line. Roles include transporting and setting up/taking down heavy equipment, performing chemical mixing and sanitation, running packaging machinery (labeler and date coder), conducting quality checks, maintaining cleanliness per IHC standards, collaborating with technicians and brewery staff, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of the packaging line. Opportunities for progression with defined exams and potential pay increases; requires physical ability to lift, stand for long shifts, and work extended hours including overnight stays. Requires strong mechanical understanding, ability to learn onsite, multitasking, and professional communication with customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
- One year of packing machine operator experience preferred but not required.
