Job Summary
Conduct phlebotomy procedures including venipunctures, medical history reviews, and post-care for donors while supervising a mobile operations team. Assign duties, schedule hours, and manage hiring, coaching, and performance reviews to maintain adequate staffing and team proficiency. Drive a mid-sized bus or van to transport equipment to remote sites and ensure adherence to FDA regulations, OSHA standards, and budgeted operating expenses. Requires constant interaction with donors and public; valid driver's license and in-house road test completion mandatory. Beginning base salary $44,000-$52,000 with comprehensive benefits including medical, retirement, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three (3) years of phlebotomy experience
- At least 6 months of experience as a Team Captain
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties of the job
- Prior supervisory experience
- Familiarity with FDA regulations governing blood banking
- Knowledge of AABB standards
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Valid driver's license issued by the state of residence
- Meeting driver eligibility criteria as specified in the Company driving policy
- Positive approach toward donors, technicians and other staff members
