Job Summary
Perform MRI imaging procedures, operate specialized equipment, and obtain quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages. Conduct IV contrast injections, process patients, and manage scheduling, registration, and file systems. Maintain appropriate registries, comply with regulatory guidelines, and participate in staff and student training as assigned. Float primarily to Franklin, Rockbridge, or NRV with the primary location in Roanoke, working any three days Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Certified/registered by ARRT in MRI, or certified/registered in an imaging profession by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS, or eligible for MRI advanced certification by meeting ARRT candidate requirements
- MRI certificate
- Completion of MRI school or current enrollment in MRI school
- AHA BLS-HCP certification
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills
- Flexibility in assignments
- Must maintain CEU's in MRI for accreditation
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail

Desired Qualifications
