Job Summary
In-home Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist delivering in-home diagnostic services (phlebotomy, EKGs, and macular edema screenings) across designated geographic areas. Per diem, flexible scheduling with no minimum monthly visit requirement. Travel to patient residences with paid appointment and travel time (2 hour minimum), plus IRS mileage reimbursement. Core duties include in-home blood specimen collection, labeling and transport; perform EKGs and screenings; maintain organized work environment and supplies; manage clinical paperwork and reporting; monitor inventory and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Requires demonstrated phlebotomy experience and patient-focused communication; CMA/CPT certification preferred; state Licenses may be required in WA/LA; must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and travel up to 100 miles; drive license and background/drug screening mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings
- At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred
- Certification as a CMA or CPT preferred
- If located in WA or LA, a CMA or CPT license is required
- Valid driver’s license; background check and drug screen
- Ability to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits
