Job Summary

Assist physicians at long-term care facilities with audiology, optometry, podiatry, and behavioral health care while maintaining clinical records through electronic medical records. Complete chart preparation for scheduled patients, verify accurate medical history, and generate daily production reports to share with management. Coordinate patient flow, manage medical equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance, and audit supply inventory to place orders. Accurately post charges, document patient inquiries, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies. Requires 100% travel within a 2-hour radius with mileage reimbursement and drive time pay.

Required Qualifications

  • High School education or GED
  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • Good driving record
  • Car insurance
  • Completed and passed a two-step Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Must be able to listen to needs of patients and doctors
  • Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand, walk, push and stoop on a periodic basis
  • Ability to lift less than 50 pounds (Audiology and Vision)
  • Ability to lift minimal weight (Podiatry)
  • Ability to push patients in wheelchair
  • Corrected vision to a normal range
  • Corrected hearing to a normal range
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions
  • Ability to work irregular hours
  • Ability to work with exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a background investigation
  • Successful completion of a drug screen
