Job Summary
Diagnose, test, and repair vehicles using computerized diagnostics while managing on-site repairs, maintenance, and installations across your assigned territory. Perform light and medium duty work on heating, electrical, brakes, drivetrain, suspension, steering, transmissions, and engines, including diesel repairs. Submit work orders and time sheets promptly, collaborate with management on technical issues, and provide customer training on product usage. Maintain company property, follow safety protocols, and respond to customer complaints effectively. Achieve an 85% efficiency level and safely operate shop equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in one or more of the following designations: Automobile (A 1-9), Medium/Heavy Truck (T 1-8), School Bus (S 1-7), and Transit Bus (H 1-8)
- Minimum four years' experience in an automotive service facility
- Personal tools
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsement
- Ability to pass ASE certification tests
- Ability to achieve an efficiency level of eighty five percent or greater
- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain a valid Commercial License, which includes successfully completing the DOT Medical Exam, Driving Test and all other license requirements
- Must be punctual
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Strong Leadership qualities
- Must have a professional attitude
