Mobile Mechanic

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on refuse collection vehicles at customer sites across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Service hydraulic systems, electrical systems, compaction equipment, and lifting arms while conducting preventive maintenance including inspections and component replacements. Operate a service truck equipped with tools and parts to complete field repairs, documenting all work performed, parts used, and service recommendations. Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, timelines, and solutions while ensuring safety standards are followed when working on heavy equipment. Requires 3+ years of experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs in outdoor environments. Own tools required; company provides specialized tools and service truck.
