Job Summary
Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped truck to diagnose and repair mechanical issues on passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot systems including brakes, suspension, and electrical components, and conduct fleet inspections ensuring DOT compliance. Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues efficiently, maintain service equipment, and communicate repair details to customers. Work independently in various weather conditions while adhering to all safety policies and traffic laws. Assist with shop or warehouse duties as needed and complete work orders via mobile app. Valid driver's license required with CDL preferred; experience with diesel repair advantageous. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in various weather and road conditions
- Capable of lifting 50–100 lbs. regularly
- Basic computer and mobile app proficiency for work orders and reporting
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Overtime may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with diesel and/or heavy-duty truck repair preferred
- CDL preferred
