Job Summary
The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining lighting systems (bulbs and ballasts), assisting in maintenance and repair of building and equipment, performing general interior maintenance ( hanging pictures, repairing office furniture ), minor plumbing repairs, painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and other tasks as assigned. Requires performing facility inspections, ensuring safety and compliance, and being on-call for after-hours emergencies. Must be able to lift heavy objects, use ladders, drive between sites, and communicate effectively in English. Stay compliant with state, county, or city codes and policies for hazardous materials handling; document work performance and procurement as directed. On-site at Idaho Falls, ID; no visa sponsorship; able to work independently or as part of a team; expected to participate in ongoing safety and technical training.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
- valid state driver’s license
- ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft, and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and lifting
- ability to work on-call for after-hours emergencies
- self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team environment
- preferred completion of an applicable technical training program
- on-site location in Idaho Falls, ID; US work authorization without sponsorship
