Job Summary
Organize daily schedules of visits to facilities and private residences to collect specimens per physician requests, planning routes based on courier times and specimen integrity. Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and conduct ECG tracings. Collect and deliver specimens to designated labs, then accession, spin, separate, and prepare them for transport as required. Book patient appointments, request necessary information, explain collection processes, and ensure protocols are followed before collection. Liaise with doctors, facility staff, and CCAC regarding patient problems, scheduling changes, and specimen procedures. Requires a valid Class G driver's license, clean driving abstract, and three years of driving experience. Full Covid-19 vaccination and booster mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Access to a vehicle
- Minimum of three (3) years of driving experience
- Clear driver's abstract
- Satisfactory criminal reference check
- Phlebotomy experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to think quickly on your feet
- Ability to maintain the strictest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality
- Fully vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccinations
- Booster shot for this role
