Job Summary
Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment across assigned facilities in Louisville, KY. Perform ongoing preventive and repair work on facility systems, conduct interior and exterior inspections, and submit daily P-card receipts while updating work order status in real time via CMMS systems. Maintain equipment in an energy-efficient, safe manner to minimize downtime and report on conditions impacting client occupancy. Requires a valid state driver's license, Universal CFC recovery certification, and four years of technical experience in building engineering. Standard business hours with on-call availability; no visa sponsorship provided.
Required Qualifications
- Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment)
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of overall system design and applications
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
- Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing CMMS (Work Order) systems
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
- Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration and HVAC
