Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components. Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment while completing repairs to lighting, doors, walls, flooring, and roofing. Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls, conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate. Update work orders in real time using a CMMS and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Requires at least four years of commercial building engineering experience, strong HVAC troubleshooting skills, and Universal EPA Certification. Valid driver's license with a clean record is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of commercial building engineering or maintenance experience
- Strong commercial HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
- Universal EPA Certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience maintaining commercial refrigeration
- Experience using CMMS/work order systems
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Trade school or documented apprenticeship in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems
