Job Summary
Manage all bookings through the Beautify app while performing on-location mobile braiding, styling, and blow-out services. Consult with clients on stylistic options, evaluate hair condition, and advise on proper care and treatments. Execute hot tool styling, cuts, extension installations, and other dry styling while adhering to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Handle client questions professionally, clean workspaces after appointments, and participate in sales, promotions, and brand-building events. Maintain an up-to-date cosmetology license and demonstrate personal style within the company dress code. Make your own schedule and attend required training and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Managing all bookings through the Beautify app
- Being on time for all appointments and performing services within the time allotted
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Listening to the needs of clients to determine their preferences
- Handling client questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Adhering to all standards for client service and cleanliness
- Cleaning all client-provided workspace at the end of the appointment
- Demonstrating your personal style while adhering to the Beautify dress code
- Showing consideration for the comfort of clients by practicing good hygiene and limiting excessive scents (i.e., smoke, perfume, etc.)
- Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair
- Evaluating the condition of the client's hair and advising them on proper hair care and suitable hair care treatments
- Keeping updated on hairstyle trends and styling methods
- Performing hot tool styling and other dry styling on clients (i.e., braids, cuts, extension installation, etc.)
- Regularly attending, participating in, and supporting training and staff meetings
- Participating in all sales, promotions, and brand-building events
- Performing other job-related duties as required
- Current state cosmetology license
- Creative mindset and a good eye for design
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision (self-motivated)
- Capability to use mobile apps and other technology to view scheduled appointments, attend meetings, and complete other job-related tasks as required
- Willingness to work as a team
- Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers
- Understanding of health and safety rules
- Reliable transportation
