Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers, including semi-truck bodies, hubs, axles, tires, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance measures and inspect equipment for performance issues while ensuring U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements are met. Write detailed work orders for mobile road calls and in-yard jobs, compile inspection reports, and document repairs for billing. Respond promptly to client queries and maintain DOT compliance. M-F schedule with rotating on-call. Earn up to $700 bi-weekly with efficiency bonuses. Requires 5+ years of commercial tractor and trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 100+ pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified experience of Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair experience
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds
- Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
- Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with welding, certification a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical school degree, a plus
