Job Summary

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers, including inspecting semi-truck bodies, servicing hubs and axles, and replacing tires. Perform preventative maintenance measures, check brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and ensure equipment meets U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements. Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and respond promptly to client queries while writing detailed work orders for mobile road calls or in-yard jobs. M-F schedule with rotating on-call; pay range $28.00-$40.00/hr plus up to $700 bi-weekly efficiency bonuses. Requires 5+ years of commercial tractor and trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 100+ pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of verified experience of Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair experience
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds
  • Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing
  • Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
  • Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
