Job Summary

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers by inspecting, servicing, and replacing parts including hubs, axles, tires, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance measures and adjust or replace components as required while ensuring trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements. Write detailed work orders for mobile road calls or in-yard jobs, compile inspection reports, and document all repairs for management. Respond promptly to client queries and maintain professional customer service throughout the process. Work 12-hour shifts with an on-call rotation, earning flag hours based on invoiced time rather than clocked hours.
